Clean Consistent Wood Burning every Time

Fire management baskets were made popular in the US by Kosmo Q, the competition BBQ cook. This basket will extend your wood refill times upto an hour!!

The problem with offset smoker fire management, is you need to make sure you keep a strong coal bed, so when you put your next log on, it takes quickly, minimising the time you have dirty smoke running through the cook chamber while it's igniting.

The 'V' shape of the Fire Management Basket allows the wood embers to fall into a small well-vented area. Additionally, bonus is the radiant heat this basket gives off. This will also help your wood burn cleanly and efficiently.
It's shape works perfectly with a pinwheel style damper intake. It draws clean air into the fire, then funnels through the basket and into the cook chamber, creating minimum air disturbance, making for a more efficient fire and burn.

Run charcoal and wood, or just charcoal.

  • 28cm (wide at opening) x 32cm Long x 14cm high
  • Base measures 17cm wide x 32cm long
  • 3/16'' thick fully welded plate construction with removable/replaceable expanded metal bottom

Fits All Cactus Jacks, Oklahoma Joe Offsets, and more

We recommend you remove the fire grate if using on a Cactus Jack smoker, run the basket off the base of the firebox.

Delivery is free for orders over £70 to UK mainland, excluding Northern Ireland, offshore addresses and highlands.
Orders may process without issue to these excluded places, but ProSmoke reserve the right to cancel the order if the surcharge isn't paid prior to shipping. 

Small Items Shipping
Items other than BBQ's, grills and smokers are all shipped via DPD local on 24-hour delivery. We aim to dispatch these items the next working day after they are placed on the website. 
You will receive a tracking link when they leave us. 
Delivery is between 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday.

Smokers, BBQ's & Grills
These items are shipped via pallet network on a 24-48 hour service.
We will always make contact prior to shipping, as someone will need to be in to receive these items. Our team will call via phone on the following day of ordering.  If all information is gathered prior to 12pm midday, the item will ship that same day for delivery on the next working day.
Note: this excludes Cactus Jack smokers, as due to their size and logistics involved, we require an extra 2 days of processing.
Delivery costs for these items are detailed on the product page and at checkout.  Note: surcharges do apply to Northern Ireland, offshore addresses and Scottish highlands.

Taxes
All prices include VAT. Purchases outside the UK can request an invoice excluding VAT (excluding Northern Ireland), but VAT will be charged on the shipping.

Granted I have a Franklin which I’d already fantastic, but this basket to makes everything easy and keeping a coal bed a dream. Great with 10” splits too. Blue smoke every time with this basket

Usual prompt delivery by Prosmoke, ordered at the weekend and arrived Tuesday morning.
Really well made and saves a little on wood,keeps a nice centralised coal bed and can warm the splits either side.

V-shaped fire basket

Took the plunge and bought this when slightly discounted. Fits well in the firebox and retains a decent residual heat as well as keeping the fire base controlled on long cooks.
I did need to ‘stoke’ the fire a few times towards the end of a long cook (using heat beads and chunks) to ensure the ash wasn’t hampering the fire, but overall, very pleased so after two cooks!! One 15lb brisket and the other was 4 whole chickens and 3 racks of ribs-fire lasted well for both
