We couldn’t be bigger fans of the art of the Texas barbecue. We’ve been getting to grips with all the tips and tricks to nail the perfect grill for years. So we were excited to throw open the ProSmoke HQ doors for some Masterclasses and help turn BBQ enthusiasts into true pitmasters.
We worked closely with the amazing teams at Wilsons BBQ and Chuds BBQ to provide some excellent tuition throughout the day. These teams are passionate about the art of barbecue and wasted no time in getting everyone acquainted with the smokers, techniques and rich history behind Texas BBQ.
Across the day we covered everything from meat selection and prep to wood selection, fire management, temperature control and, of course, the holy grail of Texas BBQ – beef brisket. It was a hands-on experience that allowed participants to get up close and personal with the smokers and there was plenty of opportunity for questions and one-on-one guidance.
