Great but not an easy build

Masterbuilt say this needs a couple of people and about 2hrs to build. Maybe if they lift weights daily and can decipher the instructions! The instructions are poor - illustrations are far too dark to make out the details and it’d be useful if the parts were labelled. Weight wise it’s very very heavy to be picking up during the build and hard with 2 people lifting (circa 120kg / 285lbs).

That all said, when built it’s a solid beast! Done a couple of cooks so far and it’s great! Easy to light and gets up to temperature quickly (one of the foibles I’ve found is it overshoots and drops back to temp and it does this a few times until it settles and holds at temperature. It’s a fantastic piece of kit and I think will last for years. I’ve only taken a star off for the instructions to build.

Pro Smoke were great with comms and delivery and I’ve no hesitation in recommending them. Next time I’ll pay the extra and get them to build the kit! 5 stars for them!

Brilliant communication, build and delivery

I ordered the Masterbuilt XT after several email exchanges with Olivier.
Prosmoke offered an in-store walk through and demonstration but I was unable to get there for that, but all my questions were answered quickly and fully by ProSmoke. I ordered and decided to pay extra for the build and delivery service (since this looked like a fair bit of work), and I was very glad that I did - the unit arrived fully built and protected during transit, and I was given an overview and some tips once we had it out of the van and set up. I've seasoned according to the instructions (it was up to temperature within minutes!) but not yet had a chance to cook on it however I am reassured by the quality (and weight!) of this unit, I expect to get many years of pleasure.
I can heartily recommend ProSmoke, and look forward to dealing with them again in the future.

Had it 2 weeks and the weather has only allowed me to do 2 cooks but the Chicken and Pizza I did were excellent, even if I do say so myself :-)

Quality product, feels heavy duty and prestigious and gives me the impression this will last for many years to come. I've did whole chickens, pork and beefs both at high and low temps without any issues. The insides of the chamber are all porcelain coated and very heavy duty thick steal. Internal temps stay solid, very little fluctuation, in fact so little I thought the LCD display was lying to me and I purchased an independent thermometer to give me continuous readings of the chamber and it matched the Masterbuilt display within 0 to 7 degrees so the Masterbuilt was telling the truth when it comes to internal temps. It has so little cons they aren't worth talking about. All i know is that this thing will last me for years to come and will just smoke my foods with very little interruption from myself other than the odd spritz, leaving me to get on with my life. I can oly sumup the Masterbuilt with a handful of word ';Quality & Reliabilty'
