The ChefsTemp 2nd-Gen New Probe is a highly accurate, ultra-thin wireless probe with multiple sensors, released as an upgrade to the original ProTemp Plus probe.
It is designed for use with the ProTemp S1, ProTemp Plus, and ProTemp 2 Plus monitoring systems
Product Features:
- Ultra-Thin Probe & Long Battery Life: 0.17-inch (4.55 mm) ultra-slim needle leaves almost no mark on your food. Built-in battery lasts up to 40 hours on a single charge.
- Premium 316 Stainless Steel: Delivers superior corrosion resistance against acids, humidity and fats—far better than 304—while NSF/ANSI food-grade certified to prevent metal leaching, ensuring safe, hygienic, long-lasting performance.
- High-Temperature Durability: Withstands ambient heat up to 1000°F (530°C) and internal food temps up to 221°F (105°C). Ideal for grilling, deep-frying, smoking, and more.
- Multi-Sensor Precision: 5 sensors at the tip measure internal food temperature with pinpoint accuracy. 1 sensor on the handle tracks ambient (grill/oven) temperature in real time.

ProTip: Optimal Usage
For best results when using the probe, ensure it is inserted past the safety line to protect internal components. When measuring ambient temperature, make sure the probe is inserted past the safety line but not beyond the "ambient perfect line" to prevent the coldness of the meat from affecting the reading.
