National Chef of the Year 2019 winner Steve Groves, Head Chef at the time at Roux at Parliament Square tasked us with the job of designing his perfect boning knife. We felt delighted to accept a challenge.
From initial sketches made during conversations with Steve, it became apparent what he needed. He was looking for a knife with a very pronounced upward curve to the blade, tapering to a fine point. Also, the handle needed to be shaped to be comfortable being held in a wide variety of grips.
And here it is now in our DNA range Savernake DNA BB12 5inch Boner– one of our most popular custom knives finally making an appearance.
All of our Summer ’23 knives and sets are available with handles made from European Micarta, cloth and thermo-setting resin, or phenolic stabilized wood. With our specially designed, counterbored rivets as well as hand-shaped handles they offer outstanding comfort, durability, and panache.

Delivery is free for orders over £70 to UK mainland, excluding Northern Ireland, offshore addresses and highlands.
Orders may process without issue to these excluded places, but ProSmoke reserve the right to cancel the order if the surcharge isn't paid prior to shipping.
Small Items Shipping
Items other than BBQ's, grills and smokers are all shipped via DPD local on 24-hour delivery. We aim to dispatch these items the next working day after they are placed on the website.
You will receive a tracking link when they leave us.
Delivery is between 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
Smokers, BBQ's & Grills
These items are shipped via pallet network on a 24-48 hour service.
We will always make contact prior to shipping, as someone will need to be in to receive these items. Our team will call via phone on the following day of ordering. If all information is gathered prior to 12pm midday, the item will ship that same day for delivery on the next working day.
Note: this excludes Cactus Jack smokers, as due to their size and logistics involved, we require an extra 2 days of processing.

Pre-orders are offered on products that are coming soon and on their way to us. This way you can guarantee to get the item as it lands with us.

Taxes
All prices include VAT. Purchases outside the UK can request an invoice excluding VAT (excluding Northern Ireland), but VAT will be charged on the shipping.
